Information you give us. When you fill out our estimate form, call, text or email us, we collect what you share, such as:

Marketing messages

We may use the contact information you give us to send you marketing emails and, where permitted, marketing calls or text messages about GM Roofing's services. We send marketing text messages only if you have agreed to receive them, and agreeing is never a condition of getting an estimate or hiring us.

• Email: every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
• Text messages: reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
• Any channel: you can also ask us directly to stop sending marketing messages using the contact details below.

Opting out of marketing does not stop messages about a project you've scheduled with us, such as appointment reminders or invoices.

We use trusted third-party services to run our business. They receive only the information needed to perform their service for us and are not allowed to sell it. These include:

• Jobber, our customer management and scheduling software, where we store customer and job details and from which we may send quotes, invoices, reminders and messages
• Zapier, an automation tool that moves information between the apps we use, for example sending a new estimate request from our website into Jobber
• Netlify, which hosts this website and receives estimate form submissions
• Mux, which hosts and streams the videos on our site
• Email, phone and text messaging providers we use to communicate with you
• Payment processors, if you pay an invoice online

Each of these companies handles information under its own privacy policy. Our site also links to our Yelp and Instagram pages. Those sites are run by other companies and have their own privacy practices.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing. We share information only:

• With the service providers listed above, to operate our business
• With manufacturers or suppliers when needed to register a product warranty for your roof
• When required by law, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public

How long we keep information

We keep customer and job records for as long as needed to provide our services, honor warranties and meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. Estimate requests that don't become jobs are kept for a reasonable period in case you follow up, then deleted or anonymized.

Our site is served over a secure HTTPS connection, and we use reputable providers with their own security safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
