Started on the roof at nine years old.
Giovanni Mondragon grew up on job sites with his dad. Today he runs his own licensed roofing company across the Sacramento Valley.
It started with tagging along with his dad on roofing jobs. Over the years, he learned the trade one piece at a time and kept getting more involved.
Ever since he was a kid, he knew he wanted to be a contractor. Back then he didn't even know there were different kinds. He'd watch contractors pull up in big trucks and think, that's going to be me one day.
By 15 he was picking up side jobs of his own. He got good at the work, and found out he was just as good at the other half of the job: talking with homeowners, explaining what their roof needs and making the whole process easy.
When it came time to get his contractor's license, he passed both the trade exam and the Law and Business exam on the first try. Today he holds California C-39 roofing license #1144977 and runs his own company across the Sacramento Valley. The name is his own, too: GM stands for Giovanni Mondragon.

“I don't really look at this as a job. I'm living the dream I had as a kid.”
“You'll get as far as you're willing to push yourself. Nothing is impossible unless you convince yourself it is.”
Easy totalk to.
Ask Giovanni's customers what they appreciated and you'll hear the same thing: how easy he is to communicate with. He explains what's going on with your roof in plain language, answers your questions and tells you what happens next.
That's the job as much as the roofing is. You should never have to wonder where your project stands.
“He came the next day to give us his bid, was prepared and able to answer all our questions. His communication was excellent and transparent throughout the process.”
How we work.
- 01
Easy to reach, easy to talk to
You'll know what's happening with your roof and what comes next, explained in plain language.
- 02
We'll say when a repair is enough
If a repair solves the problem, that's what we recommend instead of a new roof.
- 03
We fix what's under the shingles
Soft decking and worn flashing get repaired before the new roof goes on.
- 04
Your property stays protected
We protect landscaping, driveways and gutters, and clean up before we leave.
Four steps, in writing.
- 01
Request an inspection
Tell us what's going on or ask for a general roof check. We'll find a time that works.
- 02
We walk the roof
We get up on the roof and document its actual condition instead of guessing from the ground.
- 03
You get it in writing
A written estimate that explains what's needed and why. Take your time deciding.
- 04
The work gets done
We schedule the job, complete it and leave the site the way we found it.
